Wer ist dabei? Was steht auf der Agenda?
Was besprechen die illustren Damen und Herren bei ihrem Meeting? Wie immer wurde um Inhalt und Teilnehmer der Bilderberg-Konferenz ein großes Geheimnis gemacht. Einer schweizer Zeitung ist es aber offenbar gelungen, an die Teilnehmerliste heranzukommen. Wie immer eine bunte Mischung von globalen Würdenträgern aus Adel, Politik und Wirtschaft.

Pikant: Aus Griechenland soll auch George Papaconstantinou angereist sein.Papaconstantinou ist Finanzminister von Griechenland. Deutschland ist unter anderem durch Josef Ackermann vertreten. Die Liste ist dennoch mit Vorsicht zu genießen. Sie hat keinen Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit. Auch die Richtigkeit kann selbstveständlich nicht überprüft werden. Bilderberger - das bedeutet eben auch totale Geheimhaltung und Null Transparenz.

Es dürfte jedoch dieses Jahr spannend werden, weil sehr viele Reporter der alternativen Medienszene vor Ort sind. Auf der Teilnehmerliste stehen im Übrigen auch Ex-Finanzminister Peer Steinbrück und der Chefkorrespondent der "ZEIT", Matthias Niess. Falls er wirklich dort ist, dürfte es spannend werden, ob wir in der "Zeit" demnächst einen schönen Hintergrundbericht lesen werden. - Jedoch zeigte die Vergangenheit der Bilderberger-Treffen, dass nicht alle Personen auf der Liste auch tatsächlich erscheinen.

Medien-Skandal: Journaille schweigt

Wie auch in den vergangenen Jahren war und ist es ein Skandal, dass die Medien nicht über dieses Treffen berichten. Angesichts der drängenden wirtschaftlichen und globalen Probleme müsste in St. Moritz eigentlich ein ähnliches Massenaufgebot von Journalisten herrschen wie in Davos. Doch die Journaille schweigt. Ein einmaliger Vorgang angesichts der Anzahl der dort versammelten politischen und ökonomischen Prominenz. Es erscheint wenig glaubhaft, dass diese Treffen tatsächlich nur rein privater Natur seien, auf denen nichts Wichtiges besprochen wird. Vielmehr ist zu befürchten, dass hier jenseits der Öffentlichkeit politische und ökonomische Weichenstellungen für die Zukunft vorgenommen werden.
