Today I did a google search for army choppers flying really low, circling montreal all day yesterday and not a peep about it. that's how aclimatized people have become to the militarized police state! I mean I might understand that for the last couple of years everytime there is an event, especially when the montreal canadians make it to the playoffs, after the game there is always a military police chopper which circles around and then will hang over one spot over the main drag like a panopticon serveying the celebrations. hell they even do that when montreal looses! once they even did it when the canadians were playing out of town and lost!
